Wellbeing Support

Formerly known as Boys Noise and b:You, Unlimited is dedicated to enabling children and young people reach their potential by helping them to remove their obstacles and provide healthy boundaries to keep them heading in the right direction. We have different programmes designed for specific needs, so we are equipped to support every individual.

HeartSense

HeartSense is a 10 week programme delivered to small groups (up to 3) with sessions designed to develop emotional resilience, build self-esteem, practice social skills and improve wellbeing. We believe that this then

results in improved attitude and behaviour.

Bereavement

We developed a booklet designed to be worked through on a 1-to-1 basis, to support children who have suffered a bereavement. We called the booklet “The Elephant in the room,” as we acknowledge that bereavement can be a challenging subject to talk about.

Mentoring

For some children, a short-term programme doesn’t provide all the support that they need. We can provide longer term mentoring style support, where the child or young person has the space to talk about anything they feel they need to and to then be given advice and support as appropriate.

How things work?

The number of children we can work with will be dependent on the group sizes, which will be determined by the pupils referred and their needs. As a guide, in a half day we would usually see four groups (a maximum of twelve pupils) and in a full day eight groups (a maximum of 24 pupils). Schools can book one, two or three terms of support. If an entire year is booked, a discount may be offer at the discretion of CRiBS.

Referrals

If you are a member of staff at a school in which we work and need to fill in our pen portrait/referral form, then please click here. Please discuss this with a member of our team in school as well.

Surveys

If you are a member of staff at a school or a family member that have been asked to complete a survey, then please click here. This allows us to give accurate data to our schools and funders that helps us to continue our work.

Social Prescribing

CRIBS have recently joined in Partnership with Bexley Volunteer Service Council to provide Mentors for a Social Prescribing Project.  There are different options for young people to access support and one of them is one to one mentoring in schools led by our Unlimited mentors.
